“Alamo news” – Mrs. Betsy Wright, an old and respected lady of this place, was buried on Thursday of last week. She has lived here the greater part of her life, and for the past six years with her son, George Hancock. She was twice married, her first husband being Mr. Hancock. She had three daughters and one son by her first husband, and by Wright one son. The funeral was held at the residence and the Presbyterian minister made a few appropriate remarks, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Stonebraker cemetery. kbz
